On this Tuesday, Vikas Bangia will speak to the chapter on Cybersecurity Issues.
           Vikas Bangia, CISSP, GCIH, GPEN is a Senior Vice President and Senior Information Security Architect for a private wealth management firm catering to ultra-high net worth families. As a member of the Information Security team, his responsibilities include security architecture and deploying tools and technologies to mitigate cyber security threats. He is a member of several senior level committees including the Crisis Management Team and Corporate Information Security and Privacy Committee.
          Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Mr. Bangia served as a Project Manager for Ernst & Young focused on encryption technologies. Prior to that Mr. Bangia was the Information Technology Manager at a global fragrance and flavor company.
Mr. Bangia is a member of the SANS Advisory Board and an active member of InfraGard. He is a GIAC Certified Incident Handler and Penetration Tester and holds the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification
Mr. Bangia is a graduate of the Executive Information Technology Management program at Columbia University. He earned his B.S. in Biochemistry from The Ohio State University.
